Cette J.E. s’adresse principalement aux candidats à l’Agrégation d’anglais et a pour objet de compléter et d’approfondir les préparations à ce concours organisées dans les universités françaises. En s’appuyant sur la présence d’invités, historiens, irlandistes et politistes spécialistes de la question et de cette période, elle offrira aux agrégatifs, et à tout étudiant ou universitaire intéressé, l’occasion de mieux comprendre la complexité des enjeux, (géo-)politiques, intellectuels et culturels qui, entre 1870 et 1914, ont généré des débats intenses autour du Home Rule en Irlande.
